Use free resources well! (NY & Washington DC)

Are you crazy about free events or museums like me? Then, you shouldn't miss any chance to enjoy your discovery in New York or in Washington DC. Both of them have lots of great entries for people, here are some links: (I do really appreciate them)

New York-


Museums, American Indian Museum is also free admission fee(one of the Smithsonian institutions).


Voice village, you can get this weekly newspaper in a small red box on the side walks. It is the same as POST(破報), but the scale is far bigger than POST.


Urban Park events, you can find orienteering events!


NY Public Library, it is a great resource, you even can take free English class!!


Others, like China Town, they arrange special events in that area, if you get a flyer, you can just follow the schedule. For example, I have participated in 2007 Taste of Chinatown, Lunar Stage, where I watched a movie, 滿城盡帶龜殼甲.













Washington DC-


Mr. Smithsonian's museums are around the open area in front of the building of the US capital. One day tour for all of them is absolutely not enough!! Btw, the super cute panda in the national zoo is aslo free admission fee!!!
