Orienteering in Manhattan

I joined an orienteering event finally!!!!! It is so hard to find an orienteering event in Manhattan, unless you had a car. This event was in north Manhattan (Inwood Hill Park), very close to my place, so I just rode subway 1 to the last station, that's it!

Although only few people came to join, we still had a good time there. Especially me, I could run under the sun and on the grassland and in the woods!! That's perfect! I MISSSSSS forests in Sweden..... T_T~

我在會後留下來問東問西順便幫忙收點以讓他們對我放心，進而願意分享資料給我這個外人，而顯然，這個策略成功了！我拿到許多寶貴的資料與建議，艾德先生竟然還是定向繪圖軟體的經銷商與經驗老手！以後有問題總算是有人問了！願意付出時間與心力的，終究能得到相對的回報，感恩啊。

美國定向發展不像瑞典那般，有當地俱樂部、每週有固定的訓練時間，由於地緣廣大，比較可能的模式就是由某個組織定期在週末舉辦比賽，並且藉由在公園遊客中心舉辦免費推廣活動來吸引更多的人參與。另外可能艾德先生本身是有另外成立承辦定向活動的公司，他腦子可是裝了大大小小各種不同與定向有關的有趣活動，每一個都好棒、好吸引人，我真想立刻回學校給我的學生玩！

能有這種交流機會真的很棒！（雖然我的英文很令人流汗）
