Taiwan"ize"

This issue is super hot recently!! Do we really need to remove all the names with "CHINA"?? Is this another way to catch people's eyes for the election in 2008?

In my opinion, we should change of course. When you say, " I come from Republic of China!" No one really knows whewe you mentioned, but if you say, "I come from Taiwan!" Quite a few people know that. And when it comes to the "quality" for different products, Taiwan is more representative than "China." On the other hand, we have our own government and power, cannot we say we are an indepentent country already?

But from other point of view, maybe we should discuss more and do this decision later. How about the cost for changing? Did the officials think about "all" people's feeling and thoughts? And since we are kind of protected by the U.S, once we presume to do that, we will be killed I think!! >"<

I do hate that we have to use Chinese Taipei or other strange names anyway. I hope stupid PRC(China) can stop treathening us as soon as possible... Then we can do anything we like. But from this moment, we had better to slow this "movement" down. If it is only because of the reason of POLITICS, it is not necessary and bullshit. Otherwise it is just like what today's news mentioned that they want to change CAS (Certified Agricultural Standards) to TAS or one reporter said,"the president's son's name Chen, Zhi-Zhong should become Chen, Zhi-Tai instead."
