Jamboree 2011: Simply 500 days left
På söndag är det bara 500 dagar kvar tills dess att det 22:a världsscoutlägret World Scout Jamboree drar igång i Rinkaby, strax utanför Kristianstad. För att uppmärksamma detta drar vi* nu igång en fotoutmaning. Vi uppmanar scouter runt hela världen att ta en bild, gärna tillsammans med andra scouter, där man på något vis illustrerar att det bara är just 500 dagar kvar till lägerstart. Sedan ska bilden laddas upp på idolsidan på Facebook, samt gärna också mailas till vår nedräkningsblogg på Posterous. Den som twittrar om det uppmanas använda hashtaggen #simply500.

Photo challenge – it’s time to get the creativity flowing!
On Sunday, March 14th, it is exactly 500 days left to the next mind-boggling World Scout Jamboree. In order to celebrate, we would like to create a photo challenge:
Take a picture of yourself, alone or together with some of your fellow scouts, containing something that indicates there’s only 500 days left to the Jamboree. For an example, please see the picture above. Feel free to take your photo in any location, but we it is extra nice if you take it at an interesting place in your own hometown.
When you are done, upload the picture to the jamboree’s fan page wall on Facebook, together with a note indicating where the picture was taken.
We would also be happy if you can send the picture by e-mail to post@jamboree2011.posterous.com as well.
By doing so, it will be published on the countdown picture blog http://jamboree2011.posterous.com/ within 12 hours.
