New president at Chalmers

Today, Jan-Eric Sundgren announced that he will quit his job as president (rektor) of Chalmers University of Technology. I think his successor will be Lena Gustafsson, who now is first vice president. She is a smart woman with big knowledge in the futuristic biotech area. Anyone who want to bet against me?

This weekend, I went on a mountainclimbing tour to DaGuanShan, which in Chinese means “the big, guarded mountains”. It was really nice, with many Kodak moments. It took a while to go there though – about seven hours from Hsinchu.

Anderson in Kaohsiung

Next week, I will participate in the Yunnan Orienteering Festival in China. I just bought the flight tickets today. Since the policies has changed, I need to go to Hong Kong to get my visa, which is a little bit troublesome… (Det var bättre förr… )
